Mr. Nicolas Prentzas has assumed the role of General Manager (Chief Operations Officer) at National Bank of Greece in Cyprus, joining its executive management team and bringing with him extensive experience in banking, financial services, and digital transformation.

He has held senior executive roles across the banking sector, with direct responsibility for digital delivery, operations, and technology. His experience includes building and scaling digital banking platforms, launching lending and payments products, implementing automation to improve efficiency, and delivering embedded banking solutions. He has also led initiatives supporting cross-border activities and market expansion in Cyprus and Greece.

He brings deep expertise in fintech, technology governance, and regulatory environments, with a proven ability to deliver sustainable growth and innovation in complex, highly regulated financial institutions.

He holds a BA (Hons) in Computer Science, an MPhil in Management Studies, and an MA in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.
