Maria Papakokkinou is the Chief Operating Officer of IXI Investments, a leading asset management company with over $1 billion in assets under management, and serves on the Board of Directors of IXI Fund Managers Ltd. She previously held senior positions including Director of Portfolio Management and member of the Board of Directors at the algorithmic hedge fund IKOS, Vice President on the Commodity Derivatives Desk at Citigroup London, and Associate on the FX and Commodities Trading Desk at J.P. Morgan London.

Dr Papakokkinou holds an Honours Degree in Mathematics from Imperial College London, an MPhil in Financial Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and a PhD in Mathematical Finance from Imperial College London.
