  • Christodoulos Seferis is the Managing Partner of TGS Hellas
  • Christos has over 35 years of experience in a Big-4 company with a focus on financial services, including insurance companies and regulatory bodies, various industries, public and semi-public sector, energy and utilities and technology.
  • Previously, he was Senior Partner and Regional COO at Ernst & Young, he led the Audit and Consulting services department in Romania and laid the foundations for similar departments in a number of countries in Southeast Europe.
  • Christos has extensive experience in external/statutory audit, valuations, internal audit and other advisory engagements, including IFRS implementation, security systems audit, regulatory engagements, integrated audit and initial public offerings (IPOs) of listed companies, consultancy and valuations (real estate), fraud investigations and liquidations/administrations.
  • He holds a BA in Commerce, Business and Accounting from the University of Edinburgh, UK and a Master of Science in Computer Science from University College London, UK.
  • Christos is a member of various professional associations, including: Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Institute of Internal Auditors in the United Kingdom, Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA – CISA) in the USA, Association of Fraud Examiners (ACFE – Certified Fraud Examiner), Institute of Certified Auditors of Greece, Institute of Chartered Accountants from Cyprus, Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania and is authorized by ASPAAS (Authority for Public Supervision of Statutory Audit Activity); He is also an authorized Liquidator (Greece) and GDPR authorized DPO.
  • He was the engagement partner of the auditors of the audits of the financial statements of large banking institutions, insurance companies and IFNs in Romania and Greece and carried out a series of investigations, evaluations and consulting services regarding frauds at systemic banks in the region of south-east of Europe. He was the responsible partner for the execution of special projects for the ECB in Greece, reviewing the asset quality of one of the largest systemic banks; he was also responsible for the special administration of three cooperative banks, as well as the determination of IFRS adjusted balance sheets for two banks, including the re-estimation of loan loss provisions that were absorbed by other systemic banks.
