Social Responsibility Award 2008 from the Athens Chamber of Trade & Industry

As part of the awards given by the Athens Chamber of Trade and Industry in 2008, NBG was awarded the Social Responsibility Award in recognition of its longstanding and significant contribution to the growth of the Greek economy, the progress and prosperity of Greek society in general, environmental protection and the preservation of the Greek cultural heritage.

Each year the Athens Chamber of Trade and Industry, in its annual awards competition, bestows distinctions on those businesses that succeed not simply in performing well financially, but also in contributing in a substantial way to strengthening the economy more generally, enhancing Greek entrepreneurship abroad, and supporting the community as a whole.
